Another not so comfortable cruising feature of Fishing Vessel “Mighty” McClure Bay are the lack of showers. Not to say the solar showers are really that bad, but considering Alaska during the rainy season isn’t really known for the rays. We appreciate Justin for boiling water and mixing it with cooler clean water then we hanging the solar shower over the 01 level rails and presto we have a shower. All of this takes a lot of effort so the showers have been far few and in between. We have to conserve water as there is no watermaker so we go through our fair share of baby wipes.
But not today we have landed in Baranoff Warm Springs and cannot wait to soak in the tubs to sooth our aching bones and washing our sticky bodies.
