Montague Biking

We absolutely love our Montague bikes! They are without a doubt the best bikes to use when sailing the world. Wade picked up a couple of Paratroopers at West Marine using rewards. Sara rides an 18 inch and Wade has a 20 inch frame. Besides having the awesome feature of being a folding bike the best part is the full size 26″ tires. We have biked through some tough areas and without fail these bikes can just handle whatever we go through. When we first got them we stored them in a lazarette but the more we started to use them, pulling them out of the lazarette got old.  We made baskets out of 316 Stainless steel one inch tubes. The baskets are attached to our dinghy hoist and now they are so much easier to access. 1. Drop anchor, 2. lower dingy, 3. drop bikes in the dingy, and 4. away we ride.
