We had a beautiful moon lit sail and another sunny day. As we rounded Cape Cheerful and made our approach to Dutch Harbor our winds died and we had misty cold rain. We were so bummed to learn from everyone the last two weeks have been record hot temperatures on Unalaska and that with the north winds rolling end today, they said these winds signal summer is coming to a close.
We tied up at the dock and went into to town. We ran into folks we actually met in Atka, so it was funny that they said maybe it was faster to come by boat than by plane, haha.
Cheers,
Wade and Sara
