We were invited to a Sunday Lunch after church. We sat in the traditional local, or in the US could be referred to as the living room / dining room, and enjoyed a traditional meal of breadfruit rice, pork, and other yummy food. On Top (Far Left) is the chief of police and why his nickname is On Top. He made us feel so welcome in Fanning and we hung out with him regularly. Sadly he will only be at that post for three years so we aren’t sure if we will be able to see him before he switches post.
