We were sailing along and last night around midnight the wind disappeared. We had maybe a 5 knot breeze so we pulled over to Apataki. We found a sweet motu on the south end, called Vahine, and anchored to rest. We are both super tired but jumped in the crystal clear water for a swim. We found only three black tip reef sharks and decided to get out after they circled closer and closer three times. We look forward to exploring tomorrow and a good night rest in a safe anchorage.
Boat Position at noon 15 degrees 36.463 minutes south and 146 degrees 20.458 minutes west.
Cheers!
