Sara was secretly shopping for Wade’s birthday gift and as she was at her last stop she backed in a parking spot and noticed a trail of something in the parking lot. As she inspected she smelled fuel and then looked at the fuel gauge had dropped a quarter tank within the hour and she had not driven that far.
Instantly she stopped shopping jumped in the truck and headed for the closest gas station. After passing a couple of gas stations that did not have diesel she stared at the fuel gauge while driving down Highway 1. Luckily, she came across a Mobil four miles away. She pulled up and stopped directly in front of the pump and fuel just poured from Wade’s truck.
Sara called Wade and he came to meet her. After inspecting the vehicle, he could not believe it, but the fuel filter unseated and sprayed fuel until the tank was empty. We drove to the closest auto parts store, Wade got a new fuel filter, and replaced in the Mobil parking lot.
