We had the most amazing time, met some fantastically kind and funny people, saw some breathtaking views traveling from the Rocky Mountains, Yellowstone, Glacier National Park, Kootenay BC, Banff Alberta, Yoho BC, Jasper Alberta, Hay River NWT, Yellowknife NWT, Liard Hot Springs BC, Dawson City Yukon, Top of the World Drive, Chicken Alaska.
During our Northwest Territory detour we got a message from our friend Justin. “Would you like to help motor a fishing gut boat from Valdez to Port Townsend Washington (with no guts of course), via the Alaska inside passage for a couple of weeks, food and fuel paid for?”
We thought about it for a couple of days and jumped on the opportunity. We made it to Valdez and the weather window looks good. We are provisioned and the truck is stored so we are off!
