Hello North Pacific Ocean

We had not crossed the equator at noon but at dusk we are saying hello to the north pacific ocean. Today was another windless day with the motor running at 2100 RPMs and we have been fairly steady at 5.0 knots motor sailing. We have been really well rested and almost a since of boredom. We started going through the list of boat projects and repairs that we hope to accomplish in Honolulu and trying to figure out if we are going to stop off at the Big Island or Maui or both before arriving in Oahu.

We were very happy to see that our AIS identified a cargo vessel 58 nautical miles away. The ship crossed in front of our path about 18 nautical miles. Too bad they were not a super yacht that wanted to celebrate crossing the equator, haha.

Cheers from the equator,

Wade and Sara
