Bora Bora Bound

This afternoon at around 5 pm we left the lovely Island of Penrhyn and are now on our way to Bora Bora, we hope. Our destination is on a course of 142 degrees and a distance of about 585 miles. For the two hours we have now been under way we have averaged a speed of about 6 knots and our course is about 140 degrees and the wind is about 17 knots. The weather shows we have about 3 days of good wind direction and then not so good of direction, but it will take us maybe 5 days to reach our destination. At least the first 3 days will be good and weather further out then 3 days might not be so reliable anyways.

Cheers,

Wade and Sara

P.S. We did not include boat position because our boat was anchored briefly outside of the village after we traveled from our southern anchorage.
